Although the suspension program has not been officially restarted, four schools urgently requested support for four young men who had begun engaging in troubling behavior, ranging from carrying weapons on campus to involvement in violent fights.

In response, counselors and psychologists have been working with these students during their suspension period, providing guidance and support from Tuesdays to Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The program is designed to equip them with the tools and strategies needed to avoid further involvement in criminal activity and successfully reintegrate into school life.

This initiative reflects a broader commitment to addressing crime and violence at its root, offering structured interventions at a critical stage in these young men’s lives.

In addition, a special program in collaboration with the Juvenile Court is currently serving eight young men recently released from GIS. Sessions are held every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., focusing on helping participants move from mere existence to purpose. The program provides practical tools for making positive life changes and reducing the risk of reoffending.

Through these efforts, the organization continues to create pathways for rehabilitation, growth, and reintegration, ensuring that young people are given the best possible chance to redirect their futures.

These are young men from court who were recently released from GIS. Saturday’s session was very encouraging, and we’re focused on helping move these young men from mere existence to purpose by equipping them with the tools to make positive life changes so they don’t recommit the offense.

We currently have 8 young men in this special program with the Juvenile Court. We meet every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:30am as part of our structured intervention to guide them towards a better path and reduce the risk of reoffending.
