Fight N Fit proposes to launch an After-School Boxing Program. It is our belief that a program of this kind will provide an outlet to engage and advocate for increased physical activity in the youth, support the efforts in the fight against childhood obesity, prevention of NCDs, support anti-bullying and improve the morale in the persons within at risk communities The Fight N Fit After School Boxing Program incorporates the technical and competitive aspects of the Boxing with the Fitness and Strength components though spoken about but not quite done in a holistic manner in the Caribbean.
It marries a wealth of Boxing experience with Fitness and Wellness Professionals to not only learn the sport of boxing but manage fitness whilst prepare interested athletes for the rigours of competition. The Space is tailored to get the most out of each and every athlete with planning and tools and equipment to achieve either the fitness levels desired or to improve on performances desired. The School Program is a natural spin-off of the Fight N Fit Program: Run by Certified AIBA Boxing Professionals, the program will have as a bonus exposure to Coaches from the International arena such as Barbados, Cuba, the USA and beyond to expose the young athletes to what is required to best the best that they can be.
