The Amarone Charitable Trust was established in 2014 with the aim to find solutions and provide assistance for needs that weren’t being met in the global community, with a specific focus on Barbados---

Children

Children

Children are the cornerstone of our future, and it’s our duty to provide them with the opportunities they deserve. Our Children pillar is dedicated to nurturing their potential, providing quality education, healthcare, and emotional support. By creating safe spaces for learning and growth, we’re laying the foundation for a generation that’s equipped to thrive, innovate, and contribute positively to society.

We believe that every child has the right to education, food access and basic healthcare. Our support for charitable initiatives in the past has included providing funds for educational technical devices, early vision screening in infants framework development and empowering children through creative arts, among other projects.

Education

Our efforts have assisted initiatives that provide access to a safe education for underserved children and children with special needs. Since 2017, we have been providing funding to buy tablets for the schools in Barbados, and have been sponsoring children with special needs to ensure they have access to attend a school that is set up for their needs. We also support a community group, Square Circle, which seeks to educate and empower children in Toronto, Canada through social circus activities and creative arts.

Food Security

Our commitment has led us to support vital causes like ensuring children's well-being. Collaborating with organizations like Capital Kids Trust in Barbados, we've allocated funds to provide essential food for youngsters. Additionally, our partnership with the Water School has resulted in constructing fifteen 6,000-liter water tanks, ensuring clean and safe water access for children and families in Uganda. Together, we're bridging gaps, transforming lives, and creating a brighter future for those in need.

Health

We have worked with organisations such as UNICEF to improve children’s health by providing immunization for newborns and equipping mothers with essential newborn care kits in Nepal. We also have an ongoing partnership with the Pediatric Preventable Blindness initiative at the University of Miami to support in the goal of decreasing the burden of preventable blindness by developing and implementing a framework of early vision screening in infants and children that can be applied globally.

We are always looking for more charitable initiatives that may need a helping hand. Does this sound like you?
