Disaster Relief

When disaster strikes, the aftermath can be overwhelming. Our Disaster Relief pillar is a beacon of hope during these challenging times. Through swift and strategic responses, we provide essential aid, relief supplies, and support to affected communities. By standing by their side, we help them rebuild their lives, restore their dignity, and emerge stronger than ever.

We believe that every individual should be able to comfortably continue his or her life after being affected by a natural disaster. At ACT, we aim to support organisations and direct individuals with disaster relief efforts.

Heart for Haiti

We have partnered with Heart for Haiti since 2016 with the aim to lend a hand with both children and disaster relief initiatives. Over 100 children, either orphans or from families who are unable to care for them, live within this community. Heart for Haiti also provides emergency relief to fight against effects from natural disasters to help with food access and rebuilding of communities. We want individuals to be able to have a safe place to return to after a long day and for children to have a location where they can obtain an education for their future.

Bahamas – Disaster Relief

In the year 2019, the ACT stepped forward with compassionate support. During the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian in Grand Bahamas, we allocated crucial funds. These resources were directed towards the vital replacement of essentials like vehicles, books, uniforms, and bedding for the dedicated interns of Rand Memorial Hospital. This gesture not only aided in their recovery but also exemplified our commitment to standing by those affected by disasters. Our actions echo our core values of empathy and solidarity, underlining the meaningful impact we strive to create within communities.

We are always looking for more charitable initiatives that may need a helping hand. Does this sound like you?
